Another great afteroon and evening had on Saturday 12th November at Brookie Pub, 16 attended, with 10 of the group going to Mimmos Pizza for dinner, then returned back to Brookie Pub for a drink and more laughs. Great to catch up with Michelle again before she heads back to India.

Next one, probably around May or June 2012, see update next year, maybe different venue as Brookie Pub getting renovated sometime in 2012.

Friday Long Lunch 14th October

a few of the boys arranged for another Friday lunch, Brady, Steven R, Steve B, Stephen H, Rob K, Michael F and Peter M.

On the day Brady, Michael, Stephen and Rob were called away at last minute, but Steven R, Peter M and Steve B still caught up for lunch and a few beers. Still had a good afternoon.

next Class Get-Together

we have booked the next Get-Together for Saturday 12th of November, probably start around 2pm again, at Broovale Pub, in the beer garden if weather permitting, otherwise just inside from the beer garden.
The last one rocked on until 10pm over at Mimmos. Probably do the same again next time.
About 50 from our year on Facebook now, with our own group created called "BHHS 72-77"
Looking at the upcoming anniversaries:
2012 - 40 years since we started in Year 7,
2015 - 40 years since finishing Year 10 School Certificate,
2017 - 40 years since finishing Year 12 HSC (for those that went on)

Friday Long Lunch 15th July

a few of the boys had another of the regular Friday lunches in the city, on Friday 15th July, at the New Windsor Hotel, turned out to be a long lunch until 8pm. Brady H, Michael F, Peter M, Rob K, Stephen H and Steve B attended.

Get-together 28th May 2011

We had another of our regular get-togethers at Brookie Pub, we started around 2pm, finishing around 10.30pm, about 29 people all up (incl 3 partners) came and went during the afternoon.

A few more new faces at this event, Michelle P. back in Sydney, after living in India for many years, plus Tony F. and his partner ventured up from Bungendore for the weekend. Tony left BHHS in Y9 when his family moved to Canberra.
plus Steven R which we recently found on Facebook. Thanks to Kim O. for tracking down Michelle and thanks to Peter M. for his detective work in locating Tony.




We had a toast to our recently departed, dear friend and fellow classmate Louise Mostyn, with some kind words from Brady.

I think we left the pub around 7.30pm the last 10 remaining people headed over to Mimmos for pizza, wine & coffees, we had a great time.

passing of Louise Mostyn

Louise Mostyn, one of our classmates from BHHS lost her battle with cancer on May 1st, her funeral was held on 6th May at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium. Several friends from school attended, along with many of her work colleagues and family.
Louise lived life to fullest travelling, living and partying all over the world.
Louise will be missed by many. We will definitely having a drink for Louise on Sat 28th.
